The awakening of mass political consciousness is happening, and corporate elites can't do a thing to stop it.

- yeah, and there's now so many enlightened humans of pure heart watching their navel in peace meditation that eternal peace on Eaaarth is guaranteed, too.

We'll see if we can beat this one, like we didn't under NAFTA, looks 50-50 to me right now, We have better organizing tools than we had then, but they have 20 more years of Corporatist government...

I think we who are politically aware know about it and what it will do, but so many are not and don't. I wonder if simplified graphics might help...

Noted. Thanks, Cal. Well, Wikileaks released a portion of the TPP agreement earlier this week thankfully! And, I've been writing my members of Congress to insist upon an open debate, so that all can learn what's really in it. Now, we have even more information and can ask Congress not to pass it. Yes, we are having success, and have those in power worried. Let's keep at it!

Noted. This has huge implications, legally protected patents for GMO's for a start and less freedom of speech with internet restrictions, also widening of the gap between rich and poor. Not good.

With the government(s) putting whistleblowers in prison every time they find one, let's hope whistlblower's don't become a thing of the past...Kudos, stars, standing ovations, and hugs to each and every one of them.

I can not believe how long it has taken for the media to jump all over this "agreement". I found out from BBC. America. that this meeting was to be convened and the timing coincided with the "Repug "Shut Down"Thus The President had to cancel his trip to the meeting. This was weeks ago. It was obvious to me ,at thta time that this agreement was NO freind of the American worker.I therefore blogged this fact on care2..This would make NAFTA smalll "beans".I also pondered the chance that the REPUGS tiiming was in fact deliberate..
They cannot be described as champions of American workers ,especially UNIONS!.
maybe I just have a lively imagination and am being overly suspicious but I just do not trust Repugs ,and tea party friends. Lets get serious on this. Please.
