I really find it unbelievable that we, as humans can allow this to happen - where is the outcry, and what are these corporations thinking!

It seems that we, as a species, have a unique ability to invent new ways to f**k up the environment.

The efforts to reduce agricultural run off are laudable, but unfortunately those positive efforts will be buried if the proposed dredging goes ahead and in so many areas. Unfortunately with conservative governments at both State and Federal levels there is little hope that the development proposals will be opposed.

I can't imagine how the various proposals, which in themselves are detrimental to the environment, which are being undertaken to facilitate coal exports, can be perceived to be safe.
