Google is now one of the biggest corporations. By tracking our questions and picking up key words in our emails if we use Gmail, Google is the biggest of the big advertising giants.

GIYF didn't you know? That's sort of like the KGB coming to your door at 04:00 hours and saying resistance is futile come with us; then calming the family by saying be still; be quiet; there is no need for alarm. Everything is alright. Don't laugh! It could start happening here if it hasn't already.

Can't send stars to Betsy or Theodore - too soon I guess, but yes I certainly find this a rather disturbing corporate over-kill!

Ty Cal ... N & S

Google is a GIGA U.S. tax avoider as well... the global economy ... a Corpo Kingdom is dominated by misguided kids who insist on exercising their free will by doing--just because they "can" --rather than assessing with wisdom and careful reflection ... severe cases of ego-bloat collective and individual. Markets are not FREE nor Magical ... that is a very stupid illusion subscribed to by multitudes ... as it is marketed on such massive scale . . .

"Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell." ― Edward Abbey

“The fact that millions of people share the same vices does not make these vices virtues, the fact that they share so many errors does not make the errors to be truths, and the fact that millions of people share the same form of mental pathology does not make these people sane.” ― Erich Fromm, The Sane Society

"If ignorance paid dividends, most Americans could make a fortune out of what they do not know about economics." ―Luther Hartwell Hodges, Sr., Fmr. U.S. Sec. of Commerce

“I think we risk becoming the best informed society that has ever died of ignorance.” ― Reuben Blades

"Google, the tech giant supposedly guided by its “don’t be evil” motto, has been funding a growing list of groups advancing the agenda of the Koch brothers. "

That's not really a difficult question. They got rich. And in the process, sold their soul, or lost it. Some who come upon great wealth remember their roots, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are two fine examples, others, like Larry Page, Sergey Brin and Mark Zuckerberg (which is why I don't use their products) are so pleased to be newly minted members of the elite that they will do anything, just like the rest of the elite, to protect their fiefdoms no matter the cost to others. These are humans who have lost their humanity. Their only useful purpose at this point is to serve as an example to the rest of us of how NOT to be. It is the only thing they are still good for.

Why? Because Google has been seduced by The Dark Side.

Why is obvious. It's getting them to quit that's difficult.

Power Corrupts...Finding out that avoiding Google is damn difficult...almost impossible. Another one is Bing, who doesn't allow others to track while on Private Browse, But Does It Themselves. No privacy anywhere. Big Brother and the 1% are watching us.

Noted. Thanks, Cal. I never use google myself...too busy answering e.mails all day, then I go to familiar websites otherwise. But, it seems google is using me anyway.....I've also avoided facebook, but every time I open an email, they're asking me to use facebook, as well as twitter (which I don't have time for, either). Lately I've been spending a lot of time just deleting mail.

Well...this is disappointing news I'm just hearing about. My email is thru Google. So guess I'm just SOL. Sometimes I wish I could just delete all of it and get rid of this computer, TV and phone. What about CARE2 ?? If they come for me because of some statements or ?? ......guess I'll just go quietly as I'm too old to put up a fight.

Most of the people who use Google are not served well and in many cases are served adversely by the groups that Google funds. There are more of us than there are of them. Organize! Organize! Organize!

Google: You are not going to hell, you are already there. The next thing thing we know we will be monitored and eliminated from using Google because we say negative things about their plutocratic tendencies. Google: supporting ALEC and these other anti- human organizations is not a good idea - end it. Thank you for not listening.
