Women in Africa are making great strides in politics and business, and are considered more reliable partners for international aid projects than their male counterparts

Good for them! When I can, I try to support small business loans to African women so they can educate their children and start out on the road to equality.

There is no doubt in my mind. Women are natural leaders...will the government's in Africa see/accept this?

Interesting article - so many women in Africa are caught in restricting circumstances: smallholder susbsistence farmers are predominantly women, and they often face barriers to accessing credit, literacy limits their use of mobile phones to access advice, information etc (but doesn't stop them - given half a chance!) and being able to make critical decisions at community or family level - but they are getting through the barriers and are increasingly finding ways of fulfilling their potential. They even manage a Magnesium mine in South Africa!

When women can use all of their power they effect positive changes for their community, country and the world.
