LEAVE THE SHARKS ALONE, W.A.! We sure do need a cull of politicians not sharks.

Thanks for the article Cal...Boods Foo - Sydney (NSW) Australia...I live on the Mid North Coast (NSW) Australia and we do exactly that..swim in the Pacific Ocean..home to marine life. Within the last few weeks there have been 2 shark attacks: one fatal (condolences to the family) and the other survived (hope he has a swift recovery) No-one is calling for a shark cull including the family and friends of the victims. They will hunt this individual shark only now that they have determined the size and type from teeth casts. Both were surfers, they knew the conditions would not allow them to see sharks, overcast, murky waters, and the fish runs but they just had to catch them waves. I still swim in these conditions but I stay very close to the shore (shallow water), on those's commonsense to the 100's and 1000's that use our beaches...not all our coastline is netted. Kudos to everyone that takes part.

Good luck to the conservationists. Blame the idiot swimmers who choose to swim in the sharks home.

Awesome article & news..Refreshing 2 see hope 4 sharks, these activists are passionate & are fighting 4 what they believe in & not the "kill all sharks mentality", seen way 2 much of that lately.
