Their joy will be short lived when the people see what terrible damage is done to the countryside and the pollution of their water supply and the destruction of wildlife.They will pay a heavy price to enable there companies to make vast profits.

I hope the locals get out there and block them from starting the work at the delta. There are millions of people close to that beautiful area.

Unbelievable, and a tragedy for all of us. This is why such broad power cannot be granted to anyone. If we controlled our local environments ourselves (without the might of the state as a threatening lever), this kind of thing would never get off the ground.

Viva la delta! Long live the delta!
