In an effort to curb trade in rare species, a turtle sanctuary in Ventura County aims to mark each of the 360 ploughshare tortoises in captivity and 300 in the wild.

What is the world coming to when we have to brand Tortoises and de-horn Rhinos and remove Elephant tusks in order to save them.I dispare at mans in ability to live and let live.The cruelty of these poachers is appalling.
