Action completed....is this man devoid of a soul? I cannot comprehend how anyone can defend this slaughter......it's inhuman. and inhumane. As I stated in a past post.....it's time to Boycott.....big time! Hit them in the pocket where it really hurts. Thanks for sharing Cal.

Noted, signed and shared widely. I am so appalled by this senseless killing and like Michela have signed numerous petitions against it. I am just mystified at how anyone can condone this slaughter, most of all for "tradition." I'm sure there are many traditions that have gone by the wayside because they're heartless, stupid or just downright wrong. You don't continue doing something that is so wrong just because it's tradition. Ridiculous.

There comes a time when Traditions should be retired in favor of moving on into the future...Japan needs to move into the 21st Century. You can keep traditions when they cause no harm. This is just plain blood-thirsty, wanton killing.

Noted and signed. I think Michela is on the right track with this. We need to start sending a clear message to the Japanese government and business that until this practice is cancelled, we're going to exercise our buying rights to NOT purchase anything from them. Then let's see if following tradition is worth the losses in cold hard cash.

Signed! Besides for being inhumane, don't they realize mercury is rising, the dolphins eat fish, then the people eat the dolphins, and they're only damaging themselves? Karma.

How utterly shameful is his defense! It shows that he lacking in very important human qualities such as empathy and a conscience for all sentient beings. These dolphins have more of a conscience than he does! I hope that the Japanese people become enlightened to this dolphin slaughter and how immoral it is and speak up for these beautiful dolphins and never reelect this man again or any politician who defends such an outrageous crime against our own fellow brethren.

A boycott is the only way to stop this obviously as Michela said, hit them where it hurts. We need to stick together and do this for the poor sweet dolphins who are defenseless. It's sickening to see this and such a crime. Noted and signed, thanks Cal.

Japanese suffer the "small dick" syndrome, their only way to feel "powerful" is killing innocent animals.
I agree with the other posts that say the only way to stop it is economic boycott.
I wish something works against these monsters before they kill all the dolphins, whales, sharks and tuna.

This PM has done so much wrong and keep on doing wrongs. Honnored war criminals from WWII and have both China and South Korea angry. Fukushima, economic wrongs, the list goes on and on................

Thanks Cal, N & S, regardless of where in the world that picture accompanying the F.C petition of the dead dolphins was taken. Still - it shows a picture of the vast human numbers over consuming with little regard or awareness for others than" human" life continuation -until it is too late. That time is rapidly approaching us.

Like Michela and most others here, I've signed many petitions on this subject.
Hopefully the cumulative effect of world opinion represented by the volume of petitions will finally get through Japanese intransigence on this issue and eventually the dolphins will no longer be hunted and killed.
I totally agree with Jinny L, Susan A, Ondine, GGmaSheila, Kamia, Nimue, & Julia R, long list I know, but I find my thoughts on this are all reflected in your comments.

Actually Marie many times I am posting these before you. I had this conversation with Cher. Next you'lll be telling other members to not post the same articles/topics from different sources

Further, BTW, Marie I am using the Care2 link on the petition at the site, Marie and that is what you should be using no matter when you post petiitons from the Forcechange Site. You should contact Care2 Management on this duplication if you are so concerned, not take this up on your virtual soapbox here.
