Bill Maher delivered an excellent final New Rule on how some of the 1% are whining about feeling persecuted.

It's obscene that anyone can collect that amount of money which is greater than the entire resources of some countries and whine that they still need more.

"The Oxfam committee released a report this year on global inequality, and the 85 richest people 85 owned more than the bottom 3 1/2 billion put together, which is half the planet."
"Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton, they all agreed that too much money in the hands of too few would destroy democracy"
Some real gems and he's funny too: "You know, even when your shady financial tricks tanked the economy, nothing happened to any of you. Nobody went to jail, nobody went broke, Justin Bieber didn't even egg your house."
Thanks, Cal!

Noted. Thanks, Cal. I never miss this show and loved this segment! I agree that pay should be capped...mostly the pay of CEO's and upper-level execs; as well as banksters & Wall St. workers. It should be a crime that they make so much more than their employees! Many European countries cap the pay, and it's working wonderfully for them. Also, I wish the minimum wage would be raised to at least $15....just to keep up with the outrageous cost-of-living.

I love listening to Bill. he speaks the truth and minces no words and he makes you laugh so that you are not foaming at the mouth with anger.. I have often said that there should be limit on how much money people could make. The trouble is I guess that those in power who make a lot of money would be affected by it and suffer just like the victimized 1%.
