We all know that genetically engineered crops and the pesticides they promote can wreak havoc on our farms, food, and environment. But did you know they are also playing a big role in the rapid disappearance of monarchs?

First the bees and now the monarchs. If you kill the pollinators there will be no food, flowers, people!!!! Keep padding your pockets Monsanto and you will be eating your words or should I say your pile of money.

When I saw this petition I literally sat there for 3 minutes trying to remember the last time I saw a Monarch butterfly and I couldn't remember. If that isn't a testament to the disappearance of these beautiful creatures I don't know what is. Signed and noted.

N&S. "Milkweeds are critical to the monarch’s survival because they are the only plants monarch larvae will eat. But the most important milkweed for monarchs is being demolished largely by the increasingly rampant use of glyphosate in conjunction with genetically engineered crops. Fewer milkweeds means fewer monarchs." .. Please, don't use RoundUp or other chemical weed killers.

Despite our reputation as the intelligent species people are for the most part (thank goodness for those who care) pretty stupid and can not see the consequences of all their ridiculous actions to make a lot of money. I am on Take Part's email list but I signed anyway just in case.

Does our governments who allow Monsanto to do what they do, realise what will happen to us all when there is no longer butterflies to pollenate our crops and fruit trees?

Signed and shared. I love, love, love Butterflies, and Monarchs are my favorite!!
Last summer, I only saw one in my yard. But, I plan to let the milkweed grow this year, instead of tearing it off the fence.
