The billions wasted on building substandard buildings and bribery involved as usual for the 1% and the politicians would probably shock most people. Too boot even the referee's cannot make a good call, could it be they are bought and paid for? Oh hell yes! They stole outright two goals Mexico made today. The saddest part of all is that the venue could have empowered the most in need and as usual they either have been swept under the rug or tossed off the precipice.

A shocking waste of public money and resources. The money would have been better spent on the poor and downtrodden.

Actually in the end I don't know what happens. People demonstrate, protest, show how dissatisfied they are towards so many social issues, but when it comes to really show how unhappy they are... all the strength that some people (very few, by the way) were displaying against the government incompetence (to say the least) seems to fade away. The truth is that the government knows exactly how to manipulate the people by keeping them politically immature. Oh... I live in Brazil; I witness the people's and the government's irresponsible "behavior" every day.
