Don't forget the government there helped SHRUB steal an election.

Noted. And that Gov Voldemort scares me to death just to look at him on top of everything else. I hope Floridians can get together and take back their state......and quickly.

Sigh. Florida is such a sad sad place. Full of uneducated, miseducated folks. Transients who, from NY or Canada or some other northern place who feel no connection, no responsibility to work to make it better. I can say that, I live here and deal with it every day. To be fair, if you look really really hard, there are some good folks here. But they are far between and few in numbers. It is my dream to escape some day. As a friend here (one of those rare few who has an IQ way above room temperature) says..Florida...birthplace of stupid. Now, add all of that pathetic commentary to the fact that with climate change and rising ocean waters, the plan the State wants to implement to drain the everglades to use the water (yes, folks here say that there cannot be a water problem, we are surrounded by water) and morons who water the grass while it is raining at 2 o'clock in the afternoon the worst time to water and there are issues that may be too late to fix. Tell us RA, how do you feel about Florida? Noted. Thank you, Cal.

According to the Tax Foundation, Florida's state and local tax burden has consistently ranked among the nation's lowest for the past three decades. Florida does not have a personal income tax, but does have a sales tax and property tax.

Noted. Thank you for the article. I never wanted to move to Florida even before reading this.

I moved to FL 15 years ago because I thrive in heat and humidity and shake and cry in cold weather. The couple of years I spent in Idaho were worse, even excluding the cold weather.

Been to Florida and I know it's not for me. Hate humidity and heat. Besides all that the politics and politicians are cray cray to say the least.

Good list of what NOT to do in our own hometowns - we need to fund libraries, be careful with water and other resources, and put people to work
