Just how safe are Britain's public lands and forests? The idea of selling off the Public Forest Estate presents an awkward dilemma...

How safe are our forests ? the answer is not at all.The UK Tories are like the US Republicans all they see is signs in front of their eyes. This was an unwanted right wing government foisted on us by the opportunistic Lib Dems who would sell their souls for a share of government. They will pay a heavy price for their treachery at the next General Election.

Be careful whom you vote for. Depletion of forests is one of the things that drive global warming.

Natural habitats, even small areas are crucial, not just to wildlife but to us all - for recreation, for our mental well-being, for the ecological balance. Even small areas can help, but the larger, ancient areas are vital too.

We need more forests and less people To take away any more of our forests and land would be disastrous for this country Do these stupid politicians not know that the more trees you cut down the worse the flooding will become in the future here
