Good show but I notice in the article it say's " that the mine is unlikely to proceed " it does not say it won't.Lets hope it won't

It seems there is too much opposition to this mine due to the extreme devastation it would cause the environment and the fishing industry for it to "proceed." So I am cautiously optimistic that this monster will stay dead!

EPA; good job on Alaska Mine Project, Now, do your job and protect us from pesticides that are killing the Birds, Bees and Butterflies. Don't allow Monsanto and Dow to coerse or bribe your approval of their poison.

One thing I do not understand is when politicians are so focused on a "healthy economy" which at this point I feel is unachievable but they don't considerd a healthy climate and environment important. Without the latter, the public will not be healthy... They are trying to push a losing agenda on the public and people are buying it.

The EPA in most cases seems to be "trying" to do their job but the politicians are also trying to pull the EPA. People have to keep up the fight for their environment, push the EPA to stand up for it, and stand against the EPA.
