I suppose that this shouldn't come as a surprise but it does nevertheless. Maybe the lesson that we should learn is to be careful what we do today because we may have to pay for it tomorrow.

At least they're investigating. Didn't realize the fleece fibers were entering the waste stream to the oceans. Not good.

Hopefully this contamination has been found in time to stop the contamination from spreading.

Noted sadly for the oceans of the world, as if this has been found in Sydney's Harbor it most likely is in a big percentage of the world's oceans. .
Take note of Illinois not allowing the production or sale of plastic microbeads. Thank You Illinois, and hoping lots will follow your lead.
