Good article. I think we are in very unchartered waters with cell phones . The Australian brain surgeon Charlie Tao believes that cell phones are dangerous , but there is not enough science to fully prove it.

I think if one is going to put electricity close to his/her body for prolonged periods of time there has to be a reaction.

Tao users his speaker phone when talking . I tend to turn my phone off when not in use .

All electro-magnetic devices are harmful, and cell phones are extremely harmful. I wouldn't wait for full studies to come out before limiting use. I use my cell phone for emergencies only, which are rare, and I get off the phone quickly. I limit use of my home remote phones as well. Use the speaker phone as much as possible. Holding it to your head is most damaging. Avoid letting children use them as it is really damaging for their growing brains.
