The obscene amounts spent for political campaigns beggars belief! Think what those huge sums of $$ could do instead.
Political reforms are long over due and this is a step in the right direction. Further reforms could include a shorter process which sees elections take less time, ie not the 2 years Americans are subjected to currently. The Brits have it right, over and done with in a matter of weeks.
Just imagine America, a political process which strives to work efficiently and quickly! Now that's reform!
