"The dogs felt threatened by some of the actions of the animal control officers"
i hate to think what those actions were to scare them, so one of the idiots shot one of the dogs!!!
Morons!
Glad both pups are safe & well!!!

Thanx Dan

The saddest part, for me, is that these dogs have been living with someone who took the time to train them ... What happened?

Did they run away because of the way that training was done? Was the "scary" behaviour of the animal control officer reminiscent of abuse during that training, Braveheart reacting in defence because of what had previously done to them?

Did the owner try to separate them, finding two too much to handle? That could have made them afraid of being caught & separated ...... and defensive, as a result.

They certainly don't seem afraid of humans in general .....

I hope someone will take the two of them.

Another question - why do animal control officers have bullets, instead of knock-out darts?

Thanks, Dan
