I belong to Small Paws Rescue, which took the Bichons and will have them in foster homes as soon as the vet clears them. I think puppy mills should be banned from this country! (And kitten mills too!) If people KNEW that those cute little puppies in pet stores came from places like this, maybe they wouldn't buy them. It's all about educating the public! And fighting on the local level to make sure your county's zoning laws won't allow mills, or working for your state to pass a law that will keep puppy mills out, or put them out of business if they're there. Thanks for posting this story!
