It's hardly a pro Palestinian plan!

Among the goals of the plan:

“To improve Israel’s international standing and ‘pull the rug’ from under BDS-like movements.”

lol-FORGET IT ! It looks to me like a can of worms..lots of 'wishful thinking' with ZERO chance to ever be implemented! The point under Settlers alone is a joke: "Passing an 'Absorption, Compensation and Voluntary Evacuation Law' for WB settlers ... no chance.
Following the link, the plan opens up here as a google drive file, cannot/ don't know how to open it as a Adobe pdf, so cannot c/p from it, neither zoom forward to a desired page, scrolling is annoying.

Anyway, with Lieberman appointed to that already toxic horror cabinet there's no way to "improve Israel's international standing". Our own press here has been full of outrage over that decision.

Interesting! It seems that BN is pushing several groups over the edge from silent endorsement ... rejection of the extreme right wing Zionist evolution ...

This group is promoting a pulling back towards a more central position - cracks through which perhaps (only perhaps) Palestinian rights would be given more consideration.

Uri Avnery picked up on another, younger group in a discussion he presents in
A Practical Proposal to Save Israel From Netanyahu

Jess shared a link to a "hawkish" journalist speaking out - with a very different perspective to his usual lines. Surprise on-air tirade questions Israeli politics

Uri Avnery's article I was there also merits a read

History of Israel:Stolen Land of Palestine by Ilan Pappe. Nov 6, 2012

He was once brainwashed by Zionist propaganda. He learned the truth about the Zionist entity that is israel and now speaks about the truth of Israel. In this lecture he clears up myths about Israel and exposes Israel. Keep in mind he is a Jew.

In 2008 the Palestine Festival of Literature began with a commitment to embody Edward Said’s words of, “the power of culture over the culture of power.”

Excerpt: JM Coetzee at the closing night of PalFest 2016.

'I came to Palestine to see and listen and learn and over the course of the past week I have seen and heard and learned a great deal. I come away with an enduring impression of the courage and the resilience of the Palestinian people at this difficult time in their history. Also of the grace and humor with which they respond to the frustration and the humiliations of the occupation.

I was born and brought up in South Africa and so naturally people ask me what I see of South Africa in the present situation in Palestine.

In Jerusalem and in the West Bank—to speak only of Jerusalem and the West Bank—we’ve seen a system of enforced segregation based on religion and ethnicity, put in place by an exclusive self-defined group to consolidate the colonial conquest, in particular to maintain and indeed extend its hold on the land and its natural resources. Draw your own conclusions."

One of the leading chroniclers of the agency gives a unique insight into its methods. "

"Long ago, the agency had established that silence is the most effective way to spread terror among its Arab enemies."

Lawsuit Aims To Revoke Tax-Free Status of Donations to Israel

http://forward.com/news/breaking-news/328372/lawsuit-aims-to-revoke-tax-free-status-of-donations-to-israel/

“These charities’ agenda is to rid the West Bank and EJ [eastern Jerusalem] of all non-Jews, consistent with perceived biblical imperatives,” the suit charges, according to Al Jazeera. “They have been very successful in that endeavor, as detailed herein, primarily because of the Treasury’s abject and long-standing failure to monitor and prevent their criminal activities for at least the last 30 years.”

any chance for peace come is rejected by the IOF along the years.
Tell when such rejection will continue and why from time to time there is a plan for peace while the internationally the state is recognized and the UN acts are clear and the Oslaw agreement is clear ...

Hi Abo,

Good to see you again.

Israel is a pariah among nations. To improve its image it has to appear that it’s pursuing peace. Israel cannot live in/with peace and cannot live without the peace process. This is where this plan comes in. So it supports the peace process to relive international pressure as it continues building illegal settlements.

If Israel were a player at a casino, it would have been thrown out of the casino for cheating and barred from entering the casino for life.

This goes to show you that even gamblers have higher moral values than the Zionists you’re dealing with!

My guess is you meant to say "relieve" but what you typed is equally correct as it most certainy will relive international pressure, probably more so than before!

Sam - your point "So it supports the peace process to relive international pressure as it continues building illegal settlements." is supported by the recent Plan developments!

Men with a plan. Men talking in low voices and walking the walk by putting this forward , into action. This is very good news. No name calling, yelling, doubting, not even saying how hard this will be. Who wouldn't be proud of people that offer solutions. We are only given one day, why not celebrate every solution offered each day it is offered. Peace is possible
