Domoic acids comes from Diatoms which cause shellfish poisoning.. one of the foods that sea lions eat. Always working up the food chain and then gets into the marine mammals.

Dr. Gaydos is an amazing man. He taught one of my classes with Marine Naturaist training as well as my beachwatcher course. He really carries the light of hope and positivity which we all need these days. Seadoc Society is located here on Orcas Island and is connected with the University of California at Davis.
