Biologists know very little about Offshore Orcas. What they believe though is that their behavior is quite similar to residents and that they prey mostly on Fish. A few years ago one washed up I believe in Canada and they found parts of a shark in it.

orcas are truly amazing and since the 70's Center for Whale Research on Sand Juan Island has been able to study them more closely. Except for the offshores who live mostly out in open ocean. What they do know is that they probably are more similar to the residents and eat fish. The three different types of Orcas are equivelent to different cultures as in humans. I find this so amazing!
