It will be doomsday if a republican win the president in 2012.

A realistic, almost enlightened, republican? A very rare specimen!

Am memorizing this list

1.Water filter or water purification equipment
2.Food — Prepared meals like MREs (meal ready to eat) and dehydrated meals
3.Security tools, firearms, mace, stun gun, club
4. Bug out Bag- a backpack with 3 days worth of survival supplies including, water, food, first aide kit, weapons, portable stove, and fire starting equipment.
5. Portable Shelter i.e. Tents, Ponchos, tarps
6. First aid kit to include a supply of personal Meds
7. Stored fuel for vehicles, generators etc.
8. Back up communication i.e. cb, walkie talkie, ham radio
9. Generator- for power
10.Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in home

However might be better if thinking was on a wider scalee Ie How to save everyone in the USA

This is a possiblity but coming from the party that is constantly yelling "the sky is falling the sky is falling" in an effort to keep the public in fear can sometimes be hard to take seriously

If this scenario was to happen, i would hope that the only curancy needed would be a persons willingness to help their fellow man. Thanks again Jae

The best thing about this bill was that it was doomed.

Given the insane rate of fracking taking place in Wyoming, it comes as no surprise that they would be preparing for doomsday. Wyoming is well on its way to becoming a dead zone.

Wyoming is a beautiful and wonderful place. Doomsday - local, national, planetary - is something that everyone should think about at some point and have a plan.

Their plan appears to be that similar to Dubya Bushes....'Bring it on'. They of all people do need a plan beyond that, as Brian points out above.

Beauty is only skin deep DC Bass....what's beneith the surface in Wyoming is not so wonderful nor beautiful due to the fracking and other toxic waste dumping they are so insanely proud of. What nature giveth Greedy corporates will taketh away and then blame the victims for their corporate greed and mental illnesses that sit behind their CEO desk. !

Perhaps that is why there are so many empty FEMA camps with very tall security fences around them that are waiting for ...?? When will they come for who..and eventually

be prepared is a reality. I only hope my fellow man will hold out his hand in a crisis

Is this the same as the 60s when kids was told to lie on the floor with their hands over their eyes if a A-bomb when off close by??

I think that is the part that concerns most of us Cynthia. So many people in their own personal crisis today and look at the hands that jerk away from them. An entire GOP party to name just one group . One can only imagine how that would play out on the scale being discussed in the article. Everyone should stay prepared regardless if it's in case of a natural disastor or a man made one...Common sense That old boy scout prepared... comes to mind a lot since my days as a boy scout, so on that note..I agree with you 100%. many ways it does appear to be similar.... I think :-)...but as many people say and believe...all things are possible, With the nut jobs, from their corporate offices and war offices, running the world the odds are ever increasing that they will bring it on if nothing naturally does the job first.. not get under a table or bed or stand in a doorway, if an earthquake happens. Lay close beside them instead. You will be less likely to be crushed by falling objects.

I do hope Wyoming gets it act together and stops killing it's land mass with toxins in the near future so that in time it may once again become as beautiful below ground as it once was above ground..and which much of it still is today...on that above ground side of things :-).
