What? Canadians might shun him? Or perhaps Canadian quail are preparing a "payback?"

Personally I wish he'd go,along with his oil related buds, to Iraq to live...or should I say, survive...out his days of evil.

Who in their right mind would pay $500 for dinner and a talk with Cheney?

Here's a bit of information from Bob Cesca featured in Huff Post Politics on 1/20/11 that might make the hairs on the back of your necks stand up:

"One reason former Vice President Dick Cheney is still alive is because of the ingenious left ventricular assist device (LVAD) heart pump -- a mechanical life-sustaining apparatus he described during this week's televised interview on NBC's Today show. The pump operates both internally using a motorized implant, and externally via a rechargeable battery power pack mounted to a Darth Vader style unit, electronically pumping sand through Cheney's heart. I made up the part about the sand.

Suffice to say, the tea party Republicans shouldn't approve of such technology because the LVAD device was developed by the National Institutes of Health using taxpayer money -- ostensibly redistributed from regular Americans and into Dick Cheney's chest cavity. Put another way: Dick Cheney is alive today because of wealth redistribution, socialized medicine and government-run health care."

American taxpayers funded the research and development that made the LVAD device possible. I don't know whether or not American taxpayers actually paid for Dick Cheney's LVAD device and/or the cost of his surgical procedure --but I wonder how many of us would get approval for such a device if we needed it to stay alive...

Jae: Love the photo of the heartless wonder. Is it just me, or does he bear an eerie resemblance to Elmer Fudd?

I just hope he goes somewhere that is willing to arrest him for war crimes!
But that's wishful thinking, as i don't think he has much time left before he takes his last far south as is possible :-)

We've been witnesses to the fact that he has no conscience. Now it's clear , the article did point out... what many of us thought about him all along...the man actually has no pluse... ... It only stands to reason that if one doesn't have,,, 'heart,,, there is no need for a pulse.

For all of Cheney's bravado, his true character speaks volumes with this. Cheney needs to grow some cojones & face the reality he was instrumental in creating.

We all should email NBC Today show and tell them no more publicity for the yucky creepy parasite Cheney (that is, unless he tells us how much he stole from us thru Haliburton and how much it costs us every day to keep him alive).

If they show him again, we should mount a 'Turn off TV' campaign.

Being that I agree w/ the Canadians, that Cheney IS a
war criminal, that Cheney IS the one who managed to
shoot someone on a quail hunt in an enclosed pen, that
we most likely had a dunce of a puppet president in office
while for 8 years, the devil behind the dancing monkey
ran this country into 2 wars, economic ruin, tortured
thousands, murdered hundreds of thousands, hired
paid mercenaries, on & on, now explain this to me....,
HE'S afraid of the Canadians? My advice would be, move to
Canada. We're a hell of a lot more pissed off here.

Speaking as a Canadian, I do not want Dick Cheney in my country. We have enough of his kind already.. He should be scared. Canada has a good record of confronting War Criminals and deporting them. The present government which is Conservative and pro gas and oil development is silent on the matter. They seem to be distancing themselves from all of this.
