The Raging Grannies are known for taking on political issues in their songs and videos. Here are the lyrics to the tune, which you can hear in the performance video above. Be warned, the song includes mature language.

Afraid the video has been removed. My daughter was talking earlier about this video and said I should join them. Now I guess I best go look it up, got my curiosity going. Everyone needs to speak up or sing out, whatever it takes.

Bummmer...I guess I was a little slow in posting this one ....Maybe one of us will run across it elsewhere and repost it. One thing to read the lyrics, and thanks Lynn for those, but to listen to the grannies sing it...right on.

Well that was easy enough...just checked YouTube and it is on there...at least for now :Copy and paste usl or..... ..go to YouTube the way you might prefer other than copy and pasting the link below....Once there just type into their search engine "Raging Grannies' 'Legitimate Rape". Gotta love these grannies for sending their message out to a wide audience...They are several of their 'political ' songs on the page listed below the player. One a pro-choice ad...

saw it before...no fooling-- for mature audiences. That means Republicans and their ilk are too immature to even "understand" the song!!!

awesome!!!! Thank you Susanne for posting the link. Sometimes the best strategy is to laugh these Republican idiots out of town, and they certainly make it easy to do!
Can anyone sing a song for Romney and Ryan? I keep hearing the beat to "How Low Can You Go..." as they parade around in their halloween costumes. I was thinking maybe a rat or Bert from Sesame Street costume for Willard and a clown or Ernie costume for Ryan.
