Welcome remarks by Sea Shepherd Associate Director Alex Earl at the Animal Rights Conference 2009 in Los Angeles with introduction by Kim McCoy.

FARM presents the worlds largest and longest-running national animal rights conference! Held annually since 1981, this four-day conference serves as a forum for sharing knowledge, reporting on progress and educating. The conference features nearly 100 speakers from around the world, educational videos, networking events, free exhibits to the public, vegan food and compassionate shopping.

FARM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public-interest organization, advocating plant-based (vegan) diets to save animals, protect the environment, and improve public health. They operate from the nation's capital through a network of volunteer activists in all 50 states and two dozen other countries.

I'm so greatful to know we have people fighting to end all cruelty toward all animals and fight for change in the laws, that protect the abusers and torcherers and users and the inhumane killings and say enough is enough.I can't imagine how any human can be so cruel, you can see the pain and feel the pain in these animals.Animals like us have a will to protect themselfs and fight to live, thats why human so called people ,tie them down to inflict pain on them.We need caring people to run for office and replace these uncaring people who allow all the abuse to keep going on in the name of law.We need to supply paul with ever he needs to fight off the japan fleets. What we really need,is the law on our side.I am barely making ends meet on my end, but I'm rooting for you all and I'm with you to the end and I pray that people who have the means to donate money and better boats, etc .We need more boats to go up against the japan killers, who can't never be satified and have the need to keep killing.Anyways I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
