A lot of people deny it and still pretend it going to be ok.
But now my oldest child goes to school and I wish they would do more there to bound with Nature.I am trying to teach them respect for Nature and Wildlife but she is more at school than at home....

Children for example,there is not enough teaching in schools these days on enviroment,respect for nature and all living creatures,but also even in the homes by many parents,they lack the responcibility to teach their children to have respect,thank God some of us parents still do teach their children,but it's not enough~!!!.Just follow the news on how many children are not scared off inflict cruelty on animals,are not enviroment friendly and show No respect for life in General.And children today are our future.I just hope that the children who Do Care and have respect are with many more than the ones who don't give a ....
Myself,well,i'm getting more and more consurned about the world we live in.Like you said,Money and Greed are Gods in the society,and that will be our downfall !!!

I agree with you, parents need to take responsibility and teach their children to have respect for all living things.But I'm am too really, really concerned.

And yes me too..I am concerned,have two childern..in a world that becomes harder and cruel.I do hope we find peace and beauty for all life at the end.

The world has to change it's attitude to all living beings and nature drastically and it has to begin in the home and carried on in schools. We live in a society of greed and materialism but i think things will slowly change when people WAKE UP!! Which is the difficult part.

people are lazy these days.When I walk around in the forest I see all kind of mess and that is just the least you can do to clean it up.Saw on the website of Ramon a newsitem about fishings line.I do live close to a river here and people dont take that with them after they went for fishing.
I always pick it up and wonder about how stupid people can be or better said how stupid people are

About those fishing lines Alicya,i was visiting my husbands grandma last month and she lives near a pound were people fish(it isn't even lagal to fish there) many ducks live on that pund,saw one duch with a hook in his mouth,the lead and line still sticking out of his mouth,couldn't catch it,called animalambulance,but that shows how some people just don't care.

About 6 years ago watched that too ,we called also the animal ambulance .There was a coot with a fisherslineand the hook in his legs.we saw that it was making some strange moves...we called and the man from the animal ambulance had the right tools to free the coot from the hook and line,very quickly too...It happens more than people think..I hate that,that people dont think about other life
