Jallikattu is an age old tradition carried out in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. This tradition involves letting loose agitated bulls into large crowds of men (always). The objective of the game is to tame the bull without using any weapons.

Animals are our friends, not a tool for entertainment & we are for animals.....they are not, be respect them as a companion on this Globe. Animal is a state subject & state Govt. can make the rules...laws to control these kinds of cruel event.....The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 is a toothless act nor effective to control crime against animals here in India. International Organization for Animal Protection - OIPA & People for Animals Haryana - PFA Haryana strongly opposed every movement against animals - Representative of OIPA in India.

Noted. There is 964 signatures so far & 1,000 is the total needed. I signed the other day & forwarded it to my friends list. How can people be so cruel, but also, so stupid, thinking this makes them a better person. TY Ginger & Pam.

Thanks, Lyn - couldn't agree more, I can never work out how inflicting horrific cruelty on an animal which has no chance of defending himself, somehow proves their "masculinity" - just the very opposite, really.

I voted Pam. I cannot believe that more people have voted to run than to ban. That is sick!

Lol, Esther - sounds like you're experiencing the famous disappearing and re-appearing comments!

How lucky are you if this is the first time it's happened to you! It happens all the time!
