According to a report by the Daily Breeze on July 1, Leon Rosby not only was charged with obstructing justice, he's also mourning the loss of his dog, who was killed by a California police department.

Ginger Geronimo..thanks for the contact..I wrote it in:

Dear Lieutenant Swain,

Cops arrests a man for peacefully filming then shoots his dog without need. This is a cop that does not know how to handle himself his job, nor has a right to carry a gun if they are threatened by our rights and a dog barking at them.

I hope they all three taken off the force and the one who shot without proper reason to never be allowed again to carry a gun. Sitting them behind the desk for the rest of their careers, which is a lot longer than the dog's life, would still be too much decision power for people with this lack of ability to think, to not be bigoted, and to put people's safety first, and not their egos and rage.

Not taking action against these cops allows the dignity of a police force disintegrate and creates examples of what Lieutenants, and Leaders in Police Force are allowing.

I hope you will take this incident as a serious indication of their character and what it reflects on your force. Thankfully you have video to make an easy assessment of this case. It is your call, make it, and bring dignity back to the force and apologize.

Thank you for listening,

This is one of those times where I do not support the police. I still don't hate all cops.

Again... Always the Rottweilers! Killed, mistreated, harmed in every way possible by some stupid psycho.
Fire all those abusive cops and put them in jail for murder!

in that case the officers needed training in public order/relations, all they had to do was ask for the video the guy was filming of them, and send him on his way, these cops acted like rednecks just by handcuffing the man while he had done nothing legally wrong, man puts dog in car, man walks up to cops, cops acted in a way to cause the dog to come to the defence of his friend,, i think these cops on the scene should all be made to apologise publicly or else be sacked and sued for taking and innocent life, it's disgusting and you will not get away with this brutal violence you thugs in uniform pretending to be police ( to serve and protect ) right? this will provoke more public outrage if nothing is done about this murderer and it is sure not good for relations between the remaining good cops and the public
