People..............We've been had. Wake up and use a bit of elbow grease & common sense!!!!!!!!!!

Quite agree Bette. We sarted to use Soap Nuts (Sapindus mukorossi saponin) instead of washing detergent last year and at long last I am no longer allergic to my cloths. These nuts are completely natural as they are the dried seed pods of the Sapindus tree and have been used in India as soap for centuries...they clean the cloths and leave them smelling great...but then I start to sound like an advert. In the UK we have Ecova brand which cuts all the harmful chemicals out of the loop. And we are only starting to understand the properties of vinegar. It may yet become the wonder substance of the future.

David - I've been watching the BBC show "How Clean Is Your House". Kim is a hoot. Anyway, they're always showing a variety of everyday items that work very well to get the job done. It's a shame that so many people reach for the harsh chemical compounds when something like vinegar or tea tree oil will accomplish the same thing.
