The media sensation in the wake of the third Presidential debate is an unlicensed plumber - a contractor, to be precise - and who is not looking to own his $250,000 plumbing business, but actually makes $40,000 per year, thus making him qualify for Barack Obama's tax cut plan.

Which would effectively make him a plant for the McCain campaign.

And to make matters worse, he's likely an acquaintance of a son-in-law of Charles Keating - from the Keating Five, which, without John McCain, would be the Keating Four.

Joe the Plumber was enjoying his 15 minutes of fame until he realized that all of the attention meant the media was digging into his personal life and seeing as there were things he really didn’t want known he decided to try to end it by refusing to talk to the media, but it was too late. Questions began coming up like his plan to buy his boss’ business for which he had no plan. The media then learned that Joe the plumber has no license and according to Joe himself he is not fully trained as a plumber admitting that he still has a lot to learn. Next the media turns up the fact that the business he supposedly wants to buy doesn’t even make $200,000.00 a year along with the fact that Joe himself only makes around $40,000.00 a year. To top it all off it is discovered that Joe hasn’t been paying the taxes he is so worried about going up. My question is: What was this redneck racist thinking when he opened his mouth and inserted his foot. Any idiot knows that if you want to keep something from being widely known you don’t expose yourself to the glaring lights of public media which will reveal the deepest darkest secrets and that proves he is a redneck because they never consider the consequences of their actions.

LOL ha ha ha I love this guys last line:

"I have something to say about this Joe the Plumber business.

This is a cynical attempt to use the blue-collar image of a plumber as a mask for wealthy individuals. He does not represent the typical American, but rather the elite top few percent.

He may be a plumber by training, but if he is in a position to purchase a business that will give him $250,000 of taxable personal income (the trigger point for Joe’s taxes to be higher under Obama than under McCain), he is quite a well heeled plumber indeed. I have been a small business owner for a decade. My businesses have always been profitable and produced a good personal income, but I have never earned anywhere close to a quarter million dollars in taxable income. If I ever do so, which is highly unlikely, I will be thrilled to death and will be very pleased to have the problem of a higher tax bracket. I would still have much more money than I have ever had in my life.

A business that earns that much taxable take-home draw for the owner would sell for at least $750k and likely over a million dollars. For anyone in a position to acquire such a business, I hardly think the tax policies of either candidate would amount to a significant limiting factor in the transaction.

I am not in favor of confiscatory tax policies, but neither am I in favor of fundamental imbalance and the failed policies of trickle-down economics.

It is not a matter of redistributing the wealth. It is a matter of fairly distributing the responsibility.

If McCain thinks I should cry for a man who can buy a million dollar business and bring home a quarter million of personal taxable income (after all available personal and business deductions and credits are subtracted),
..... then Joe the Plumber can suck my drain pipes. "

SADLY, I hear FOX News is really playing this guy UP. Had him on several times already.

But alas, another great internet blogger observes:

They thought they had a real live Joe Six-Pack who’s spurned Barack Obama’s tax plan. But what they forgot to do was check on Joe Wurzelbacher’s background.

Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toledo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford, Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son-in-law and the former senior vice president of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan. The now retired elder Wurzelbacher is also a major contributor to Republican causes giving well over $10,000 in the last few years

According to records on file with the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, the state filed a tax lien against Samuel J. Wurzelbacher for $1,182.98 on Jan. 26, 2007, that is still active.

Another Haux from the right side! This is realy fu how stupid must the people be to vote for the republicans if they do not have real money like GWB and all his friends this Wurzelbacher is just a wannabee republican and as it shows he would be better off voting for Obama but that probably does not fit....i am afraid that Joe the plumber will have to run for president for the republicans....LOL this is so hilarious!

Mc Cain came up with this and realy believed that he would get away with this...if you are a plumber you vote for Obama! If you are a republicon you vote for Mc Cain...its that simple!

Great work Mr Wurzelbacher...thank you for your honesty!

I KNEW IT!!

""What they don't know is that Joe the Plumber recently signed a very lucrative contract with a wealthy couple to handle all the work on all seven of their houses," said the senator, who owns that many homes and investment properties with his wife, Cindy."

Alaskan Gothic

Instead of talking about Joe the Plumber, Republican Senator John McCain could address someone he does know, Levi the Dropout. An ex-high school hockey star and avid yak hunter, Levi Johnston is Bristol Palin's parenting partner and he's planning to drop out of high school to fend for the family. Sarah Palin, future mother-in-law, and his political uncle must be so proud. -

Guess who has got himself a fancy-schmancy agent?

That's right, it's Joe the Plumber.

If he gets his way, Samuel J. Wurzelbacher, also known as "Joe the Plumber," plans to enjoy a lot more than just 15 minutes of fame. Two weeks after emerging as the Republican Party's favorite proxy for the American working man, Mr. Wurzelbacher has signed a management deal meant to keep him in the public eye past next week's election and earn him some money at the same time, preferably as a show business personality.

"Joe the Plumber is fast becoming a brand," said Jim Della Croce, president of the Nashville-based Pathfinder Management group, who is part of the trio that will be representing Mr. Wurzelbacher from now on. "He is a dynamic speaker and an everyman who has become an overnight celebrity. It's going to be our job to find Joe's strengths and give him some options."

God help us all. Some of Joe's "options" include recording a country album, a television talk show and of course, running for public office.
