Several years ago a young cat who really did not like people all that much jumped on me in the middle of the night. I knocked her off and she got right back up on me, jumping up and down. I finally woke up enough to realize that my husband was having an insulin reaction. I know that she saved his life. I developed fibromyalgia and our dog would lay by my bed for two or three nights before I would flare and until the flare was over. Many animals are the most amazing care givers.
