Thank you Swan Song. Dogs that work... whatever their job: shepherding, police, airport control... have the same needs and so should be receive the same care and respect as all other animals working or not. The so-called "shelter" you show is in a sorry state. It is one thing for dogs to work outside in the sun, if they can run freely then they can also manage themselves (find shade, stop, rest...) but these dogs cannot. For shame on that shepherd!

Thank you so much Swan song! My daughter-in-law and I were speaking last night about her parents cattle dog and all the antics being displayed by a young (pup) dog. We were laughing about all the mayhem INSIDE her mom and dad's house! This is a working dog who has a first class lifestyle, as should they all!
