A very interesting piece of news.
I knew that high-fructose corn syrup was
not good, but I hadn't known that it's
as bad as it is.
I also noticed many links at the site
pertaining to Aspartame warnings. I hope
alot of people click on those links, because
Aspartame (Nutrasweet) is a deadly poison,
as it turns into formaldehyde if it gets to
a certain temperature and stays there for a
period of time.....I believe it only needs
to get to 80-85 degrees to become formaldehyde.
Besides, when Aspartame was unleashed on the
public in the early 80's, Donald Rumsfeld was
the CEO of Searle, Aspartame's inventor.
So, ask yourselves:
Would YOU buy an artificial sweetener from
Donald Rumsfeld?!.....I didn't think so.
Thanks, Mike, for an important post!

You know, our cherished BREAKFAST CEREALS - those pristine ones with no obvious added sugar - are FULL of hfcs. The one that leaps to mind: read the ingredients listed on a box of Rice Krispies some day. If you eat or feed your kids Rice Krispies and many other "non-sugary" cereals, you might as well buy Count Chocula.

Good idea! We eat way too much sugar with out having it added to everything
that we buy. Let us keep our foods plain and let the buyer add what he wants. I like oatmeal with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

I wish I lived near that store! I avoid added sugars and many other crappy ingredients, but they are sneaky, and I'm sure I've been fooled.
Thank you Michael, and Mark for forwarding this to me!

In place of "normal" breakfast cereals,
try Swiss Muesli, or just-plain good ol'
Granola.....
but, what else would a Hippie like me
recommend but Granola?
