I was fortunate enough to have such a garden at my lake house many many years ago. Although our street was a dead end, in spring & summer people would drive down to see it. I miss gardening - even though to do it properly is hell's own amount of work! Constant beauty, however, is the reward, along with knowing that one is stewarding the earth...NO chemicals in my gardens!
