The jury is still out on whether hydrogen will ultimately be our environmental savior, replacing the fossil fuels responsible for global warming and pollution. The cost of producing fuel cells, and the lack of refueling network. Are major hurdles

Production would become cheeper if there was mass demand - and I am sure that there was not a gas station on every corner when the first gasoline engins started being used LOL We need to have real change so we can get off the fossil fuel addiction...

Another interesting article Michael...

Good point Chris.

I know Hydrogen has a much higher ignition temperature than gasoline but would be much cleaner.

and it is safer too - if spilt, it disapates as a gas unlike, gasoline that puddles up waiting for an ingation - or to drain into the nearest stream ...

Oh for sure Chris. Put a little cash injection into US motors Manufacturing, rollout the mass produced cars in no time and Bingo. The Hydrogen fuel cell would be now more affordable.

There again Michael Lets expound on Stan Meyers water fuel cell conversion and we wouldn't require the Hydrogen processing plants, nor the hydrogen fuelling stations.

But on the other hand, the Bush Admin Require the revenue to pay for ALL THE SOCIETIES DYSFUNCTION. In 2000 the US paid out 236 million in costs associated to motor vehicle accidents and deaths.

Who am I to say ... LOL.

Lets get the Next Society goin Michael, no need to worry about oil crisis and dysfunctional deficit revenue :DDD

I agree. The societal system, the global trade deficit and our ecosystems are in dire need of an overhaul.
Prez Bushy won't give any solutions, he'd rather let 9 million people die and call it population control measures. Genocide is what the govs are best at.

Anyways I have created the group to act upon the response of the news article Michael C. posted "Creating the Next Society: Your Revolutionary Ideas Needed! I'm hoping to get swarms of people in the group to do just that and assist in the creation of a cash free world society.

If you have time, I could send you an invite to join or visit the link below. Cheers for now mate
