FDA needs to take this "the diarrhea formula" off the market completely. It poses are very serious health risk especially to newborns and babies. The best formula remains is natural breast milk from Mothers.

I agree, Jim. Of course there is nowhere left in the world where the milk of any mammalian mother, including humans, does not contain toxic dioxin, but it is still better than most formulas.

Thanks for posting, Michael.

OM goodness, it makes you wonder if Cornucopia Institute hasn't been paid by corporate elites to sabotage the producers of the Omega 3 formula in the competitive market. How is it so that Cornucopia Institute, has just all of a sudden discovered this health risk?

This is not my usual forte of news spread, though it URKS me greatly when I suspect industries possibly under sabotage for corporate gain of other leading companies. But.. if my assumption is wrong, I seriously hope Cornucopia Institute can rectify the product risk.
How many years of research and development went into Omega-3 Enhanced Infant Formula and not detect this serious health risk (if at all the risk truly exists)? Yes of course the superior formula comes from the mother and unfortunately there is also a small to medium percentage of mothers who either cannot produce the milk or the formula is tainted from alcohol or substance abuse of the mother.

ALL artificial baby milk products pose health risks. As do the plastic bottles they are given with that often contain Bisphenol-A (BPA), a toxic chemical in the plastic that leaches into the formulas.
HUMAN MILK for HUMAN BABIES is always the best way to go. The benefits for both Mother and baby are countless. No substitute can even come close to breastfeeding.

Mothers need to get educated about the benefits of breast milk and those that can't breast feed (and I emphasize can't)need to look further. Breast is best! Don't be ashamed to breast feed your child. Its the best thing you can do! You can get natural Omega fatty acids in foods. They are so ridiculous, anything to make more money!
