Some 30,000 people demonstrated in the town of Weng'an in southwestern China June 28 against the police and local government, charging a cover-up in the death of 17-year-old Li Shufen.

Surprise surprise... Violence in China?! NOOO...!!! REALLY...???!!!

Can someone please remind me of something thatīs good in China? Sorry, I mean it, I really have a mental blockage or something but I canīt think of anything...

I totally agree with Marisa on this. No surprise to this. And nothing good to say. All I can say is boycott China and the Olympic's and their sponsors.

What do you say here but Change has to happen and will happen whether or not the current chinese "leaders" want it or not.

That goes for the rest of the world as well. Change is going to happen whether or not any of our "leaders" want it or not! From Africa to China and right back to our country. To many people are getting oppressed for money. This will not last. I will not let it last. We can not let this last. We must not rest until the power is back in the hands of the people as one world wide.

Such terrible things are perpetrated by the Chinese law enforcement authorities. It's so sad because there are so many in China who would like a more democratic nation. God rest your soul, Li. +

Wow, they actually stand up to their communist government and we sit back and watch Jerry Springer and hope all the problems go away. Go figure.
