Africa always seems to get the short end of the stick! It's sad, but like Haiti, some of their governments keep aid for themselves instead of passing it along to the truely poor. How could we fight that? Frustratingly noted, Michael.

It's amazing how none of the leaders at the G8 conference seem to feel guilty about spending millions to attend the conference and not keeping their promises. They feasted like royalty while people are starving(from another article in the Socialist Worker). They should forget about meeting in person, set up a telephone conference and give the money to a good, reliable charity.
