Not the kind of news I wanted to read considering that I may have been "duped" into taking Vytorin at one time, per heart doctor's orders, but, now, take another statin medication. Hmmm... and "sigh"... plus the side effects which I have experienced - muscular weaknesses and abdominal discomforts. Thinking here...

I have read about some of the other side-effects from a few other people.

The FDA needs a complete overhaul and get big pharma out of it once and for all.

TY, Michael.

My mom takes Vytorin and I just called to let her know and stop taking it. We will consult her doctor (as if) and get something else. Scary thing is, she's been taking it for 5+ yrs!
Noted and thanks Michael

Oh my goodness! This drug is looking like a drug from hell. Frightening stuff. Too many humans have been treated like test animals.

Wouldn't it be great if Pharmaceuticals were all non-profit organizations!

I have been trying to avoid statins. Flat out told my physician that I wouldn't take them because they gave my father liver failure. Now I take red rice yeast. I was surprised at how receptive he was.

Drugs for heart disease only give you new diseases. Try the Weiss method insted.

Seems odd that Natural News, who normally wouldn't accept the findings of the New England Journal of Medicine on much of anything, now cites them as being accurate in something. Guess they're accurate when they agree with Natural News. And when they disagree, of course, they're inaccurate.
