noted..sadly for the woman...this man had no idea of the consequences of his actions, cause he looks like a vegetable anyway, not a very bright thing to do just because of no money for insurance, glad he's getting his. And the poor woman got justice for the crime..RIP...madam..Peace in the always..

It is not a good thing that he did - compassion here - he was under great stress - INSURANCE STUFF ABut... this man cannot help they way he looks - just remember he has been under great stress - you do not know for how long - stress does dreadful things to our minds and bodies. Have compassion for his poor tortured soul as well - it will not cost you anything!!! PEACE.

Actually, I have compassion for every human soul out here, I even pray for the criminals, however, throwing your wife off the balcony doesn't really help anyone now does it? now, look at the mess he's in, when he could have just asked for some help, im sure someone would have helped the poor guy out, before he chose the wrong avenue...I understand about compassion for my fellow's all good Jac....I'll pray for him, but he just made the wrong choice...understandably so, considering all he was going thru, and I don't usually call names, so, i retract the comment on looking like a veg....Peace,love,light,harmony, and compassion..

The only person in this case I feel any strong compassion for is his poor dead wife. For heaven's sake, if he simply wanted to put her out of her misery, why not sleeping pills or another method? What if she had survived the fall? What was running through her mind in the moments before? What about the trauma he caused to anyone who witnessed the act? "Just made the wrong choice...?????"

Yes, he did and it's called murder.

And Thank you Just Carole for opening my eyes to the method he used...and yes, it was murder...however being a person of the balance of justice, I can see both sides to a story...Peace, dear...

Dennis Kucinich's Universal Healthplan would have provided the needed medical/mental care for them both!
DK in 2008! to learn more.

This is not a health care / insurance problem. The couple lived in an upscale apartment down by the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. It is a matter of priorities and what they were spending money on.

The woman had been living with her mom or aunt (I have heard both on the news) lately not with him. It was more of a control issue with him I believe now. But he was smart enough to start talking about the money issue first and thus raise some sympathy for his case.

WE NEED NATIONAL HEALTH CARE!!! However, this had to have been about more than her medical care. If it were a compassionate crime it would not have been such a violent death. How sad for this poor woman, not only did she suffer with her disability, she suffered alone.

Takes a real sicko to kiss your sick wife then toss her to her death
Maybe he should be thrown to his death....What goes around comes around.

I am so glad to hear some compassion for this poor woman -- she was, after all, someone's daughter, aunt, sister, (mother?). So, getting stressed out over bills is justification for throwing a sick woman out a 4-story window? Whatever happened to, "Just say you're going out for bread, but don't return?" -or- as April said, file for divorce? -or- jump YOURSELF????

Nah, even after more than a day to think about this, I have NO compassion for this man (any more than I would for Jeffrey Dahmer, Edward Gein, Charles Starkweather, Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, etc., etc. -- and all of THEM were tormented souls).

I'm sad for this man. He lost his mind and took his own wifes life. It will be hard for him to live with himself. It's too bad that the worlds largest super power can not provide health care for it's citizens like other countries do! We spend our money on killing instead of healing, and creating war instead of caring! God Help Us All..
