A farmer from Renfrewshire has been banned from keeping animals for 3yrs & fined £2,000 after his neglect left a bull so emaciated it had to be destroyed. The bull only had access to contaminated water on the ground.

The body of a boy has been recovered from the River Bush in Stranocum, County Antrim. The discovery was made during a search for the 14yr old who jumped into the river to rescue a dog on Thursday and was swept away.

Fishermen have recovered a giant lobster caught off the North Wales coast which could be as much as 100 years old. The 10lb crustacean named Nobby,was spotted by workers towering above the rest of the catch at a fish processing factory in Fleetwood, Lancs

Hopes of finding a 13yr old boy who was swept out to sea at a popular holiday resort are fading. He was with friends on Friday night when a wave washed him off the breakwater in Porthcawl, south Wales.

A female pilot died when her Edge E40 light aircraft crashed at Silverstone Circuit. The 40yr old Californian woman was the only person on board the aircraft & was pronounced dead at the scene. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch is investigating.
