Rats fed corn engineered to resist spraying with an herbicide developed tumors and other health problems, a study finds. But geneticists criticize the research as seriously flawed. I'LL STICK TO ORGANICS!!!!

If they want to feed genetically-modified corn and/or Roundup to rats, that's fine with me. But if there's any possibility that genetically-modified food could cause cancer in humans, I'd choose to not purchase that product and would want GM products to be labeled as such.

Interesting post, Dave! Thank you!

I can't say that all GMOs are harmful, but at least all should be clearly labeled as such.

We are slowly poisoning ourselves. Really have to take a hard look at GMOs and the pros and cons of them. Thanks for the post Dave!

Gary Ruskin, campaign manager of the Yes on Proposition 37 effort, released a statement saying that the study's findings "underscore the importance of giving California families the right to know whether our food is genetically engineered and to decide for ourselves whether we want to gamble with our health by eating GMO foods."

I live in CA and I will be voting YES on Proposition 37. I want to know what is in my foods. I do not want
to eat any product that contains GMO's. GMO's have been found to alter the health of animals, insects and
so on. Why would anyone knowingly eat any food that is going to alter and compromise their health.

Why have the Euros banned GMO's? Why have the people in Africa have been having problems with seeds, poisonous insecticdes, bankruptcy, suicides...? Why has China been trying to do away with GMO rice? Why have field tests after field tests shown that GMO's are not productive in yeilds as regular, normal crops? And so on and on.

Ty, Dave.

Is anyone in their right mind surprised by this news?!

Now you know why Roundup was banned in BC and most of Canada. Of course there's its mother Agent Orange which both the Canadian and US governments deny spraying in New Brunswick and other parts of the eastern seaboard.

Breakfast cereals most likely to contain Monsanto's GM corn... Remember those poor rats?
