If there was ever something so offbeat "disaster tourism"...the idea of re-creating disasters for vacation fun...is offbeat.....except their other story about "Poverty Porn" vacations which we've seen discussed elsewhere on care2.

Wonder when the murder or rape vacation will be available. People are just getting more sick as the years go by. Unbelievable.

Bizarre. I do storm chasing on my own, but that is because various intense storm systems come to my area on occasion and quite a number of earthquakes but aside from the building rumbling and a few things flying off the shelves on occasion we have it mild compared to western Canada and many of the more intense earthquake zones around the world . If one has to live over a fault, then I will stick to the ones we have since I don't have to worry about The Big One.

I will watch these storm systems develop but these are coming to me on their own...going on a ship to relieve the sinking of the Titanic and other made up events is ...different.

Interesting, the article mentioned Twister which is on TV at the moment. Luckily, we also get the milder versions of tornadoes, not the F4 and F5 disasters that occur in the U.S. which causes untold devastation.
