Maybe if we could show those head-up-the-behind ninnies that extreme weather threatens and harms pregnant women - and thus fetuses - they just might deign to do something.

Noted. Thanks, David. I still have hope that we can revitalize the earth.

Sad but not surprising given our daily actions. We deserve mother natures wrath. Bring it on. Overpopulation will destroy us eventually. thx David

And it's worse than that in the third world, but some people still refuse it. Sad indeed, meows David

Those are all mights and maybe's - gosh you know it could be worse. Everyone can see that climate change is real. They just lie and deny. We all know to put the brakes on but I don't think Corporations have any brakes or social consciousness. And yes, we all need to stop breeding.

Climate change denial is nothing less than criminal.

The article said that some have stated that figure might be an exaggeration. However back 20 years ago the experts didn't think climate change was going to affect us like we have now as soon as it has. So those figures might be on the low side of things.

Besides people drowning in floods, dying from the heat, the food sources will be affected and that could bring on more mass migrations and people not having enough to eat. The way Corporations destroy our water to dig out ever more dirty fuel or frack our lands there might be a shortage of drinking water. Doing too little has gotten us this far - with the likes of the Trump Administration on Office I'm not hopeful that the USA will be able to offer any leadership in a positive direction. I hope other Nations will do far better and if they do perhaps our idiots will limp along behind those who moved to a better future sooner.
