very good advise..it helps you, the enviroment and last not least the animals that are slaughtered to feed your appetit for animal protein.. Even if we cut down on meat it will help everyone and opens your mind to a different way of eating...how about 3 vegie days a week and cut down on portions ...

The best i have done is to cut down, i believe every little bit helps. We need to shut the factory farms and stop the misreatment and cruelty to animals. We should all be willing to do whatever it takes to help heal the Planet. Thx for posting Angel!!!

If abatoirs had glass walls - we would ALL be veggies. out of sight - out of mind, for most people. Just a little bit, is still murder!!
And the wellbeing diet of the CSRIO (Australia) is just another lie for big profits and lots of suffering for animals and lots of pollution for the environment! And water, they use soooooo much water it is freightening! From growing, to feeding, to killing to cleaning. The manure stacks up and pollute our rivers and land.
VegetarianVegan is the future! START PRACTISING NOW. CHANGE THE WAY YOU FEED YOUR KIDS.

I totally agree! My family and I gave up meat and fish on my 16th birthday, and we have never regretted it!! Of course, being Indian, we are often brought up in a vegetarian environment because so many people in India don't eat meat, fish, or eggs, and you could have a different Indian veggie meal every day and not miss meat, because there is a huge variety of vegetarian dishes available in Indian cuisine :-) However, I have lived outside of India my whole life, and I have managed to stick to my vegetarianism without compromise, so it is not hard! Thanks for posting this!
