In a new study published in the peer reviewed Public Library of Science (PLOS), researchers emphasize that there IS sufficient evidence that meal-derived DNA fragments carry complete genes that can enter into the human circulation system.

On the other hand - could this happen with unmodified foods? Not to side with peddlers of "Frankenfood" or pooh-pooh the risks, but surely DNA and genes from anything that you eat - GMO or not - can get into your blood. True, some of those GMO genes are dicey, so I favor labeling food items if they contain GMOs.

Please remember that we've been manipulating plant and animal genes for thousands of years. Back in the day it was called selective breeding.

Of course genes can migrate. The problem is that the genes from GMOs that may be migrating are toxins - BT, nerve disruptors and other things that we DON'T need or want in our bodies. Further, we are doing nothing but growing weeds and pests that will be completely untreatable if we continue down this path. Ever seen a locust hoard decimate literally thousands of miles of farmland? Get ready to see it with more than locusts.

I have read similar accounts on the Mercola site & it is a matter of real concern.

Freya. Selective breeding is quite different from GMOs which are genetically unstable with unknown consequences.

hmmm... it begs the question, Are The GMO companies going to start putting DNA into our foodstuffs that will eventually control us? While it sounds a bit like an Isaac Asimov novel, I am not so sure that there isn't some plan to control how humans behave - otherwise, why would governments be supporting this so fervently?
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT! As they say in the movies..."BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID!"

Grab your heritage seeds and start growing your own... become your own movement away from this Frankenstein World that our Governments are promoting.

scary stuff. Just like the sci-fi stories. They are probably putting mind altering sh*t in GMO's trying to change or 'improve' humans...
