Mark thanx for this post. It is unbelieveable that slavery is still going on in this day and age or for that matter that it ever was considered that one race was ever superior to another making the so called lesser race into slaves - absolutely diabolical - there are some very evil people in our Universe sad to say. Noted/forwarding on. Peace & Harmony

Noted and thank you Mark. Education and getting the worldwide community aware of this inhumanity to our brothers and sisters, no matter where they live in this world is important.

TY Lyn 4 the forward.
As Usual Mark my friend, your caring & compassion shines through to want to end the slavery among our children today. For that I respect all that you do for this terrible display of humans using other humans, (especially children} I cannot believe that it is still being allowed to happen to these young ones.
The site says it all, how they are treated what they do to them if they don't obey. These are wrong places for these children, We were ALL meant to be FREE, I will be a voice for these children in slavery until it stops. I have already signed back in March my friend, & will forward.
This is noted with disgust for the people that use others for their greed. I will see what else I can do to help these innocents..bless their hearts to have to endure such a life, a child should be learning in school or playing outside with others, not in some sweatshop, or sold as a sex slave! Dang, this makes me upset! We all must be their voices for they have no one else..
Blessings to ALL in the Universe...
FreeSpirit...

Thank you for your continued efforts to help abolish the atrocities many are not aware of. I'm with you and helping in the community is the first step to ending the power and greed that continues to contribute to human slavery to this very day. Again, thank you for getting involved. Keep up the good work Mark!

This is a cause very close to my spirit..., and it is a horrific criminal circuit that Mankind shouldn't even allow to exist. It is the buyers..., and with the focus on this sector, by the mass majority of humanity, maybe Mankind can eradicate this "evil" from harming anymore human-beings.
Noted, and thank you, Mark.

I can think of two effective strategies Americans can pursue to combat human bondage in the world. One is to pressure our own Congressional leaders into requiring the Bush administration (and the one to follow) into recognizing that sex slavery is not the only slavery occurring in the U.S. According to an article in "Foreign Policy" (March/April 2008), 17,500 new slaves enter the U.S. each year, yet the Justice Dept. releases only less than 2 percent. It is question of priorities.
A second front is to pressure the U.S. government into pressuring the U.N. to increase its pressure on member countries. (This, of course, is one of the main problems of the U.N.: it is an organization of member states, not an organization with much power delegated to it from member states.) Every country in the world has laws against slavery, yet little is done in many countries that have slavery. For example, South Asia has 10 million of the 27 million humans enslaved in the world today. India has the greatest number of any country.
To conclude, keep the pressure on, especially on the U.S. government to take greater action within the U.S. and to pressure the U.N. to do more.

Noted with thanks Mark for helping to bring this serious issue to light as most American people are not aware or some simply just don't care what's going on in the world let alone in their own community. Thanks also to Jocelyn for the forward.
