CALL CONYERS and PELOSI TO DEMAND IMPEACHMENT...

Here are the numbers for them both, remind them of their DUTY to put impeachment into action and remind him impeachment is NOT too late as it is never too late to uphold the law and it is never acceptable to claim there are not enough votes....it is not their job to say there are or are not enough votes, it is his job to uphold the law.............them saying they will not uphold the law is like a cop saying he won't arrest a murderer because a jury may not convict. Also that lame excuse that it will divide the country or stop the government doing their job is a lie, since the government isn't doing their job NOW and also everything and I mean everything hinges on us having the rule of law functioning.

We have enough evidence on video tape with bush ADMITTING to impeachable crimes, same with cheney, we could impeach BOTH in ONE DAY.

Please call Pelosi's office to demand she get out of the way of justice:
San Francisco Office: 415-556-4862
DC Office: 202-225-4965

Call Conyers (and others if you like)

202-225-5126

202-224-3121

202-225-3951

313-961-5670

or 734-675-4084.

Demand it.

Contact media:
http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=6

And Congress:
http://www.house.gov/

and Senate:

http://senate.gov/

And contact your neighbors and co workers and paretns and kids and every body else!

You can find lots ot do at various posts on here such as:

http://www.care2.com/c2c/groups/disc.html?gpp=5103&pst=744610

And also you can see here where we can get Bush prosecuted for murder IF we ALL get busy:

http://www.care2.com/news/member/866113885/761150

And here is how you can follow through with that:

You can get the book here (and elsewhere): amazon.com

Then get out and talk to: Full Contact List for the Attorneys General

And Google "___ District Attorney" (fill in the blank with your county)

Let's get to work on this and make it happen. At the VERY least it will shine a light on the subject, so let's get moving.

Thanks and Peace

Yes, thank you, I believe calls are in order. It looks like it will be debated as Kucinich requested floor time for several members and then
motioned to adjourn.

Don't listen to anyone saying it's impossible, they can't prove it's impossible and if we put enough pressure on it CAN happen !

Well, it certainly took long enough!
Better late than not at all, I suppose.
E-mails will be sent, calls will be made.
After the impeachment(s), we need to start
rousing the rabble to get Bush and Cheney
sent to the Intl. Criminal Court to stand
trial for Genocide and Crimes against Humanity.
Remember, friends, impeachment only removes them
from office. It does NOT mean that either will
face criminal charges.
The U.N. is beginning a new investigation into
9/11, with a specific focus on the actions of
Bush/Cheney before and after 9/11. The U.N., of
course, has authourity to file charges in the
Intl. Criminal Court. Impeachment would be great,
but would still mean that Bush/Cheney get to go
into their cushy, multi-millionaire retirements,
living off our tax dollars. Secret Service protection
alone costs We The People $27 million per year,
per person. Do the worst war criminals and mass
murderers of the last 60 years deserve that?

I hope Mr.Kucinich brought his throat lozenges
with him; He's got alot of talking to do!

Thanks, NotSilent, for this post.

Let's keep pushing and get everyone else too, this is HUGE, as you'll notice he didn'yt just name Bush and Cheney as criminals, but he also called the CIA criminals, so there will be lots and lots of pressure on our reps to not support this, WE THE PEOPLE have the numbers, so WE THE PEOPLE need to remind them of that.

We need so many calls, emails and fax's that do not let up, every day we demand impeachment.

EVERY DAY.

Good luck with that. Congress is tied to power and that power is Bush/Cheney. They represent the power elite as surely as Bush and a vote against the Executive would threaten their own existence. Remember that Cindy Sheehan was arrested at John Conyers office, and he is allegedly on her side.

Does anybody remember Cindy Sheehan? She is running against Speaker Pelosi! It's amazing how the Democratic Party laid it on nice and slick before Nov. 7 'Regime change day', then promptly began supporting Bush the next day.

Now we know 151 members of Congress, most of them Democrats, invest in defense companies.

Is it any wonder this country is in the mess it is in?

About time!! The donation that I sent Kucinich to move this forward has lost 30% of its value...geeeeez!! It will sure be nice to have Cheney in there...HA HA HA! kidding...not funny!! Could we have these Impeachment hearings in Iraq...in that beautiful new embassy?? Huh? Does this mean that its back on the table, or just another TV tray?

Here are some links to the full list o 35 articles of impeachment, and following that is an email from Dennis:

and http://chun.afterdowningstreet.org/amomentoftruth.pdf

..........................................................................

This from Dennis:

Dear Friend:

Under circumstances that can best be described as "suspicious," the www.kucinich.us website was crippled early this morning a few hours after Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced 35 extensively documented Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush.

Until we can restore the website and implement additional security measures, you can find the full list and detailed Articles at

http://www.democrats.com/files/amomentoftruth.pdf

and http://chun.afterdowningstreet.org/amomentoftruth.pdf

If you would like to show your support for the Congressman's efforts, please go to myinfo.kucinich.us to offer your comments and provide us with contact information so that we can continue to keep you informed.

Thank you
Committee to Re-Elect Congressman Kucinich

You people are nuts! Why blame Bush for everything? Congress is the culprit. The Democrats are ruining this country and going against everything Bush would like to do. They are the ones stopping things from happening. Wake up! What did Clinton ever do that was so wonderful? Give me a break! In time, you'll wake up to find that Bush wasn't a bad guy. Let's get Congress back on an even keel and have them WORK for a change. Are you aware of how many hours a year they put in, or a week, or a day? And what their salaries are? And that we pay for their lunches and all the other perks? What have they done for us? Now they want to cut Medicare payments to doctors. Are you going to blame Bush for that, too??? Open your eyes, people. Next you'll vote for Obama! Then we'll have 666 on our foreheads. Mark my words.

Other than family members, I've never been so proud of anyone in my life.
It is entered into the congressional record. Whether or not anything comes of this, Dennis is my hero.
It may be up to we the people to make certain our members of congress support this. Wexler has co-sponsored!

I have just read the 35 articles of impeachment and the entire document is truly devastating. The 31st, on Katrina, is simply heartbreaking...but then, so are so many others.

Congressman Kucinich & his staff have done a superb job. The assembing of all the quotes to back up the charges and illustrate all the lies told and revealed, one by one, is brilliant.

With such a record of gross negligence, wilful manipulation of the truth, the public and Congress and such blatant criminal disregard for US and international law, I am heartbroken that impeachment has been pushed aside again and again. I do not even dare to hope that it will come about now. George W Bush deserves to leave office in total dishonor.

Article XXVIII
Tampering with Free and Fair Elections, Corruption of the Administration of Justice
Article XXIX
Conspiracy to Violate the Voting Rights Act of 1965 :

There are different YouTube videos of Dennis introducing the articles and on one, you can hear the above articles about disenfranching thousands of American voters.

It is infuriating that this was allowed to happen, & that so little has been done to denounce it and end this administration's impunity...but it is rousing to hear someone with the guts to get it on the public record.

This is a great development, but we, as aware citizens, are a small minority. The media, I see from web browsing, is providing some coverage, is it on the broadcast news? What is happening now? I have searched for more recent news, and come up blank. I would like to print up some fliers, with the news and contact info, but first would like to know what has come of this so far.

Word of this must spread to the majority. Americans are all told, at some point, to write to their representatives. We are taught to do so in school. So talk to your neighbors, your friends and family, post fliers if that is within your means, just spread the word. A small minority, writing, calling and faxing, will not be enough. This has been proven. Word must be spread far and wide, that people in congress are trying to impeach the president. No matter how you view that statement, it is news that all should hear. And, being well trained citizens, as well as human, many will call and write, and more will talk.

As Mary said, whatever comes of this, Dennis is a hero for getting Bush's crimes, and the efforts to impeach him preserved in the congressional record. It is my deep hope that the citizens of America will rise up and demand that congress investigate, but if they don't, I hope that Mr. Kucinich's actions will be some atonement for our lack of insight, courage and patriotism, and that he will have provided a means for our failure to be looked back on and learned from. For ours is a government of the people, no matter how detached the people may have become, if the government fails, it is because we have.

Many great people, here on Care2 and elsewhere, have been trying for a long time to steer our country to a better path. We have made progress, and lost ground, but never had a breakthrough. One need only watch the video of Kucinich's presentation, to listen to the background noise, the people walking out, to Pelosi's sigh when he pointed out that 'The House is not in order'. His voice, and ours, are being dismissed. This is discouraging, yes, but we are a learning species. What we have done is not working. Our voices are not enough. The media is no help, as they too, are no doubt simply fulfilling an unpleasant duty, much like Pelosi, and will do nothing that may encourage action or hope in the people. I have no doubt that capital hill and the TV sets of Americans are abuzz today, not with talk of the crimes of our president and what they have wrought, but with talk of anything, and everything, else. Emotional and 'pressing' issues will be brought up to distract, refocus, overwhelm and discourage. They know their game well. We must do something unexpected if we are to level the field. We can, and indeed must, continue to write, call, fax our representatives, to blog and share, but if that stops us from spreading the word off the net, to friends family, neighbors and strangers, we are just playing the game as they expect us to, as they have planned for.

Freeway blogging is a sight to behold, it lifts the spirit to see word spread to so many and with such courage. But a talk, a phone call, a conversation over the fence, or in line at the store can be just as effective. Be full of hope, solid in message, and non-confrontational. Let your emotions be heard, but only as an undercurrent to the logic. Arm others with hope and information, so that they too can act. A flier, though not as personal, can be just as effective in terms of spreading knowledge. And when the masses hear about this from a 'real' person, one with optimism and courage to act, they will act too. After all, it's just a talk, a phone call, and maybe a letter or two.

Enough choir practice, it is time to go caroling.

If we get every single disgusted person to call/email/write and visit Conyers it will move forward, comments like "send to the House Judiciary
Committee where it is believed it will die" and "it will never happen" and stuff like that is exactly what they want us to say.

NEVER GIVE UP !

DROWN HIS OFFICES WITH CALLS AND FAXES AND VISITS.

All the people that will die in Iran and Iraq and right here at home due to war and this administration's illegal policies are counting on us to BE RELENTLESS.

They are counting on us.

Stay strong and stay focused.

Yesterday, I was able to send an e-mail to Nancy Pelosi demanding action on the impeachment procedure and one to Dennis Kucinich, thanking him and expressing my support.

However, I could not send my comments to Conyers:

On the Judiciary Committee homepage, my message is blocked because the system does not allow messages from abroad. And when I try to send it using my NY voting address, the system picks up the discrepancy between the location of my e-mail address (France) and NY, since I get a red 'invalid address'. On Conyers home page, you have to put your zip code in for approval, and if you're not from Michigan, you are prevented from drafting a message.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would gladly try in order to have my voice heard by Conyers.

Jill, you could also fax Conyers' Washington office at (202) 225-0072 using http://faxzero.com/. It is quick, easy, free, and they don't send you junk mail, though they put an add on the cover page, and you can only send 2 faxes per day.

I've signed all the petitions I can find concerning impeachment for both GW and Cheney. I've written my representatives, and I wished I lived in the tenth congr. dist. instead of the fifth, so I could cast another vote for this man.
I would like to send Dennis Kucinich a huge bouquet of white peace roses, maybe several... including a note that thanks him for representing the conscience of America.

Hey Jill Gabs,

Like Laura mentioned, you can also Fax Conyers at the numbers listed below, so all of us can, and people that have trouble getting anything to him can do this, plus you can use a FREE online fax like these here:

http://www.freefax.com/ff_snd.html

and

http://faxzero.com/

And remember if you use Firefox browser, you can get the free add on called "spambog" and it is a free email generator.....you can use it to generate a free INCOMING ONLY email address that saves emails for just a couple days, so you have it generate an email address, use it for something like the free fax or to sign up for something, then when you get an email from that place that you have to click on a link in it to verify or register for something, there it is. But remember it's just a temporary incoming one so just use it for using fax things like a I mentioned and for registering for stuff where you would be worried about the place spamming you. And once you generate a new email address as far as I know you can't retrieve any stuff sent to the old one cause it doesn't exist any more (at least i think that's true), so if you use it to register somewhere, it will not be there any more in the future if you lose a password or something. Let me know if you want to know more about that.

Carol, you can Google the transcripts,
full-text, using searchwords "35 articles
of impeachment + Dennis Kucnich".
They are available at a few sites, and you
can choose a normal format, or a PDF download.
Be forewarned, though, I've read that the full
transcript prints out close to 70 pages!

Steve Howard (45)
Tuesday June 17, 2008, 8:43 pm

It is close to 70 pages, and if we don't get them to put it into motion, Dennis is going to submit I think he said 60 articles in a month from now.

If you call and talk to a staffer, try to get through to them as a person, not just someone working there, some of those people aren't totally brainwashed and they could help get through to the Congress member, so don't give up!

Please everyone, fax and call and email, remember, you can send a free fax at http://faxzero.com/

And (some) of the fax numbers are:

Conyers:
Washington Office
2426 Rayburn Building

And also go to:

And Congress:

And more to do listed up in the other comments above.

Let's push as hard as we can, every day, at least a few emails and faxes every day.
