Thank you everyone for noting this, it's not a problem if you can't donate, it is more important that the news was noted and more people can find out about this. It's not a problem if you don't have a fb account, that link is to an event not a petition, so don't worry.
I'm aware of the situation of public shelters in Romania, and I consider it is a cause that deserves support. I will investigate this case through some friends that live in that town, and make sure funds are used correctly, but there is no reason to be concerned, so far the conclusion is that the money is used for their purpose.

I think Romania is an awful place for animals I cant imagine the suffering they go through I know this from the charity APAM out there who i try and help There must be many shelters out there Its times like this i so wish i was rich as i expect you all do
